Hannah Mumby

I am an illustrator specialising in mental health and wellbeing. I have a background of working in arts-for-health, and on projects where I have created images and concepts for themes relating to mental health, wellbeing, relationships, loneliness, trauma and more. My work explores ways of representing challenging emotional states, and drawing out hidden narratives from texts. My visual style is luminous, mysterious, dark and bold.

Susie Williamson

I work with acrylics on canvas, painting abstract landscapes, portraits, and intricate, hand-painted mosaics. Much of my work encompasses reinventing, reimagining and recalling life from my work and travel in the Sudan and South Africa. I have exhibited in the Menduina Schneider Multidisciplinary Salon 2020.

I am also a fantasy fiction writer published by Stairwell Books, author of the series, Blood Gift Chronicles. In all aspects of my creative life, I am passionate about encompassing themes of social injustice, marginalisation and the environment, while imagining a future that brings us closer to the earth and fosters tolerance for each other.

Catherine Denison (Dartizen Art)

Colour is a key feature in Catherine’s art. She produces inspired pieces, often experimental, neo-cubist or abstract in nature, particularly enjoying working with acrylics and encaustic wax. Her paintings are regularly exhibited, both in the UK and internationally; she leads art workshops and was resident artist at St Thomas Library, Exeter. Catherine has been interviewed on BBC Radio Devon and Phonic FM and has featured in news articles, in a book on local artists (Arts and Minds) and her art presentation was recorded for local radio. Myriam Prual

I am working towards promoting different forms of artwork and more specifically channelling art. My very colourful artwork aims at being in service of everyone who is looking for meaning and joy in there lives. I am present in hospitals and I am working towards using this specific artform in my developing psychosynthesis practise. My yearly channelled artwork is featured in my Calendars and it has raised so far £3000 for hospitals and health related charities. I create and channel Mandalas for individuals and public places (stores and hospitals). My paintings, pictures translate specific energetic fields into images.

Afra Kingdon

Founder of 'Earth Nurse Press' - a practical conservation, cultural events and publishing organisation specialising in children's books and poetry. I have had the privilege of working with colleagues in many countries and communities around the world, such as Mozambique, Portugal, China, Laos, Cambodia, Ireland, the UK, San Bushmen communities in Botswana, Aboriginal artists in Australia, Germany, Italy, etc. I am now developing a museum on the Cornwall/Devon border called 'The Chapel of the Anthropocene - A Miniature Museum of Global Poetry on the Dreadful and the Divine' and also a Roma story-telling and heavy horse project called 'The UK's First Ever Four-Legged Library'.

Through my books, posters, wardening and other work, I voluntarily fundraise and promote for organisations like WWF, Birdlife International/RSPB/FOE/Greenpeace and others and have been endorsed by the UNEP for their International Polar Year 2007 and by UNICEF in Laos and Botswana, IUCN, Panthera, FFI, etc, I hope to be an active part of 'The Big Draw' and will also be contributing to community beach clean-up operations and campaigns with 'Surfers Against Sewage', 'City to Sea' and 'The 2 Minute Foundation' in and around Bude/North Devon, using my marine conservation stories for children and my miniature donkey and Exmoor pony in tow!
