Get-in, Get-out, Get On: Successfully Delivering Outdoor Performance Work in Covid Times

On 17 June, Exeter Culture hosted a free, online event specifically focused on good practice and guidance for outdoor performance-based work amidst the global pandemic.

Exeter Culture and Exeter City Council commissioned a report from Promenade Promotions looking at best practice, issues and guidance connected to outdoor performance and Covid-19 safe practice. Our event launched the report and accompanying film (delivered by street arts practitioner and University of Exeter lecturer Tony Lidington). In addition, we heard from Angus MacKechnie and Lorna Rees from Outdoor Arts UK, Pascale Straiton from The National Association of Streets Artists (NASA), and Nikki Sved and Rachael Duthie from Theatre Alibi.

You can watch the Zoom session recording HERE.

Below you’ll find links to download the full Promenade Productions report and all the Appendices - it is packed with invaluable guidance on delivering outdoor work safely, and within Government guidelines. You can also watch two short films made by Promenade Promotions.
