Alex Wilson

I am a classical music pianist, accompanist and chamber musician, working across the genre with contemporary classical music and C20th British music as particular areas of interest. I have worked with professional musicians throughout the region, forming chamber ensembles and working with local orchestras, choral societies and opera companies since arriving in Exeter 7 years ago. I work further afield, performing around the country as soloist and with ensembles including BBC NOW and London Sinfonietta. My debut CD of piano music by British/Australian composer F.S.Kelly was released in June 2020 on the Toccata Classics label.

Cedric Peachey
Composer
Cedric’s compositions include works for voice, piano, organ, choir, orchestra, wind band, and various chamber groups, with performances in London, St Albans, Brighton, Portsmouth, and Colchester. In 2014, he won the new composition award at the Waterlooville Music Festival. Since then, four of his works have been programmed by the London Contemporary Chamber Orchestra in their annual concerts. In 2020, two of his pieces were Highly Commended by the judges of the King Lear Prizes. Forton Music have published several pieces for woodwind by Cedric and other works by him are available on ScoreExchange. Member of the London Composers Forum.

From a dual heritage Indian-English background, Somatic (Somin Griffin-Dave) specialises in the sonic world as a Sound Artist, Producer, DJ, Sound Engineer and Tour Manager. Inspired by the Devon landscapes he grew up in, his versatile practice includes creating electronic music that treads the line between club and home listening, audio for dance & film and audio-visual creation. Media Composer who is always interested in discussing new musical ideas with directors. Specialising in strong melodies, character themes, and emotional music. Past projects include composing Tudor music and a haunting theme for St Nicholas’ Priory promo film at RAMM, Exeter, and an original orchestral-style score for a Star Wars fan film. Composed a soundtrack for scenes in a story book game in various musical styles. Written songs for children’s worship and for US organisation, Kid-Fit, promoting wellbeing in children. Working on a thriller audio-movie score for an American client in various genres. Creates electronic/synth music under the name CosmoMoose. One-third member of the acclaimed live synthesizer band, Axxent Opaque. Composer member of the Performing Rights Society.
